Follow these guidelines to ensure your custom printed products come out sharp, accurate, and professional. Proper file setup helps avoid delays, quality issues, and reprint situations.
Quick Guidelines
Key requirements for best print results
PDF, PNG, JPG, AI preferred
300 DPI recommended
Extend design beyond edges
Keep text away from edges
1. Accepted File Formats
We recommend submitting artwork in high-quality formats to ensure the best results:
- PDF (preferred)
- PNG (high resolution)
- JPG (high resolution)
- AI / vector files
Avoid low-quality screenshots, compressed images, or files copied from websites.
2. Resolution Requirements
For sharp and professional print quality:
- Recommended resolution: 300 DPI
- Low-resolution images may appear blurry or pixelated
3. Bleed & Layout
To ensure edge-to-edge printing:
- Extend background colors/images beyond the final trim edge
- This prevents white edges after cutting
4. Safe Margins
Keep important content within safe zones:
- Avoid placing text too close to edges
- Maintain spacing to prevent trimming issues
5. Color Expectations
Printed colors may vary slightly from what you see on screen due to differences in monitors and printing processes.
6. Important: Proof Approval
Once a proof is approved, all design and content becomes the customer’s responsibility.
- Check spelling, grammar, and layout carefully
- Verify all details before approval
- Approved proofs cannot be changed once production begins
